English version/

Once again on Saturday the 8th of June Gladsaxe Loves Culture opens the doors to a colourful cultural festival – come along and feel the rhythm of the African drums, be seduced by folk costumes from all over the world and magical fairy-tale stories or take a journey of culinary experiences in the world restaurant.

Gladsaxe Loves Culture is inviting you and your family on a fantastic journey into the world’s cultures. The festival offers everything from Somalian stand-up, music and dance performances to literature, creative workshops, face painting and free play – all for free.

The festival’s programme offers performances for young and old. Meet among others the very popular Paw Patrol, Joanita Zachariassen (known from DR Live), Somalian stand-up comedian Mahamad Habane, and not least Alberte Winding & Andreas Fuglebæk.

Visit African Village on the lawn – an African pop-up village, and in the world restaurant food from around the world will be served throughout the day.

The festival starts with a big and colourful parade from Søborg Torv via Søborg Hovedgade and ends at Telefonfabrikken – Gladsaxe Kulturhus. A prize is awarded to the most festive parade participants and we encourage everyone to participate.

Gladsaxe Loves Culture is a collaboration between the many local associations, Richter, Gladsaxe Municipality’s Integration Council and Telefonfabrikken – Gladsaxe Kulturhus.
